Il tour è iniziato alle 9 e ci siamo diretti al Museo Egizio del Cairo. Poi ci siamo spostati verso la Cittadella e abbiamo visitato le moschee. Successivamente siamo andati nel quartiere copto dove abbiamo visitato la chiesa di San Giorgio e la chiesa di santa Barbara, la chiesa dei santi Sergio e Bacco e la chiesa sospesa, dopo essere passati anche nella sinagoga. La nostra guida, Walid, è stata molto disponibile, esauriente nel descrivere i monumenti visitati, ha risposto a tutte le nostre curiosità e ci ha accompagnati in modo discreto ma attento.
