The Egyptian was built by the architect August Mirite 1898 then it is opened 1902 Mirite was the director of the museum also he was the architect of design he has a tomb in the museum garden
The museum include more than 170000 original pieces the museum consists of 2 floors the first floor include old kingdom and some of new kingdom but the second floor include the treasure of the most famous king TUT Ankh Amon
SALAH EL DIN CITADEL
The citadel like the Syrian stronghold among which Salah Eldin had been brought up
The citadel was not only a fortress but a regular fortified town
Salah Eldin left Egypt for Palestine where he conducted the campaign that ended in the capture of Jerusalem and there he died
The work on the construction was then suspended for over twenty years until El Malek El Adel who ordered his viceroy El Kamel to resume building the work being completed in 1203 A,D within the walls of the citadel he erected palaces . enlarged its dimensions and also had cleared out the sand from the wall
Egyptian rulers long used the citadel as a place and a seat for government and as administrative centers for long periods
KHAN EL~KHALILI
Khan market ( Sowaqe) it’s one of the areas of old Cairo the ancient Khan El Khalili neighborhood is 700 years old and it is considered one of the oldest markets in all of Egypt and the Middle East and it still preserves its ancient architecture from the Mamluk era
